This time we will be introducing Bar & Dining TORRENT, located on the 4th floor of SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL, a hotel located right next to Shibuya Station in Tokyo.

Located directly connected to the station, this open-space bar is characterized by its spaciousness, and its seamless, open atmosphere and high-quality art make it an attractive bar that creates a creative atmosphere.

Marketing Assistant Manager Arisa Hagiwara explained, "The bar is located next to the hotel's front desk, and the angle makes it difficult for customers to see it, so they don't notice it and don't come to the bar." To solve this problem, she put up notices in the hotel rooms, installed digital and neon signs, and held DJ events, among other efforts. Thanks to these efforts, the bar is now immediately visible when you go to the front desk, and the number of customers has increased significantly.

Furthermore, on March 24, 2023, Torrent reopened "TORRENT HOUSE" as a bar that can also be used as a private space. For seminars and meetings, it is a space to generate creative ideas, and for parties, it provides a place for people to interact with each other in a modern atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle, with high-quality food and drinks.

We were honored to place our neon sign at Bar & Dining "TORRENT," which caters to a wide range of occasions for both individuals and groups.

Could you tell us what first made you want to purchase a neon sign?

ビルのオーナー様から「窓ガラスだけだと少し寂しいから」と、改修工事に合わせてネオンサインの設置をおすすめいただいたことがきっかけでした。ちょうどガラスを張り替えるタイミングだったこともあり、ご提案をそのままプレゼントとして形にしていただき、ネオンサインを設置してもらいました。

After deciding to buy neon, I compared it with other companies, but I decided on your company because, even though it was a custom production, you responded and produced it quickly, you were able to deliver it on the date I wanted, and your price was reasonable.

Now that you have actually started decorating with our neon signs, we would like to hear your thoughts about any parts that are difficult to use or whether you have been able to achieve the effect that you were looking for.

The part that was difficult to use was that the floor-standing marquee light neon sign was not very stable and would easily fall over. However, your company's employees worked to improve the situation, and now it is installed stably. After actually installing the neon sign, more customers noticed it, and the number of customers actually increased significantly.

これまでの歩みについて伺うと、「最初はドッグ専用の歯科医院を開こうと考えていました。福岡の先生とご縁があったことがきっかけで、まずは新規のお客様に来ていただけるよう、トリミングサロンを始めたんです」と語ってくださいました。

現在は、数ヶ月に一度その歯科医の先生を招き、わんちゃんの歯石取りなどのケアも行っているとのこと。地域のペットオーナーに寄り添った温かな取り組みが印象的でした。

今後の展望については、「まずは足元をしっかりと見つめながら頑張りたい」との言葉があり、真摯にお店づくりと向き合う姿勢が伝わってきました。
