This time we will be introducing Bar & Dining TORRENT, located on the 4th floor of SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL, a hotel located right next to Shibuya Station in Tokyo.

Located directly connected to the station, this open-space bar is characterized by its spaciousness, and its seamless, open atmosphere and high-quality art make it an attractive bar that creates a creative atmosphere.

Marketing Assistant Manager Arisa Hagiwara explained, "The bar is located next to the hotel's front desk, and the angle makes it difficult for customers to see it, so they don't notice it and don't come to the bar." To solve this problem, she put up notices in the hotel rooms, installed digital and neon signs, and held DJ events, among other efforts. Thanks to these efforts, the bar is now immediately visible when you go to the front desk, and the number of customers has increased significantly.

Furthermore, on March 24, 2023, Torrent reopened "TORRENT HOUSE" as a bar that can also be used as a private space. For seminars and meetings, it is a space to generate creative ideas, and for parties, it provides a place for people to interact with each other in a modern atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle, with high-quality food and drinks.

We were honored to place our neon sign at Bar & Dining "TORRENT," which caters to a wide range of occasions for both individuals and groups.

Could you tell us what first made you want to purchase a neon sign?

地下にある店舗で「入りやすさ」が必要だった点と、「新しさや懐かしさ」も演出したいと思っていました。そこで、最初にイメージで浮かんだのがネオン居酒屋だったため、ネオンサインの導入を決めました。

「若者は見て楽しく、年配層も懐かしい」と思えるような店舗を作りたいと思っていたためです。

常連客からは「前のお店の看板通りに見える」「渋くていいね！」という声をいただいています。

いろいろなお店にお問い合わせをさせていただきましたが、返信が1日1回しか帰ってこない業者も多いなか、neonparkさんはすぐに返信をいただきました。価格が高価でなく、クオリティも高かったため、利用しにくかった部分も特にないです。

Now that you have actually started decorating with our neon signs, we would like to hear your thoughts about any parts that are difficult to use or whether you have been able to achieve the effect that you were looking for.

neonparkさんに依頼して、イメージ通りの看板が設置できたため満足しています。

私は看板で再現するのが非常に難しい習字の画像をお送りしたのですが、そのままのイメージでネオン看板が完成した時は驚きました。「できるだけ近づけて制作してください。」と依頼したものの、ここまでクオリティが高く、デザインもイメージ通りのものができるとは思わなかったです。

もともと、焚き火のネオン看板は縦文字で制作する予定でした。書道家に書いてもらった毛筆体の看板とイメージを合わせるためとのことです。しかし、縦文字だと外国人の方が翻訳アプリを利用する際に翻訳しにくいため、利用者の使いやすさを考えて横文字に変更。

また、常連客や子供たちが楽しめるように、Nintendo Switchも店舗内に設置されています。

インタビューをしている中で、お客様ファーストで運営している店舗だと実感しました。お客様を第一に考えているため、今後も人気が上昇していくことが予想されます。家族で楽しめる藁焼きのお店を探している方に、ピッタリの店舗です。
